Dear Parents/Guardians:
The time has come to think about summer and what your children will be doing. This year we are proud to announce that Saint John School will be having a Summer Enrichment Program and Summer Camp. Students in Kindergarten through Eight grades are welcome to attend. Attendance is for full sessions 8:00 – 5:30 pm, half sessions 8:30 – 1:30 pm or 1:30 – 5:30 pm.
NOTE: PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO DO NOT OWE ANY FEES TO THE SCHOOL.
THE SUMMER PROGRAM

End Date: Friday, August 12, 2011
You have 3 choices:
Enrichment Classes – 8:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Summer Camp - 1:30 – 5:30 P.M.
Enrichment Classes and Camp – 8:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.
In order to accomplish our goal, the staff created a program specifically designed to maximize your child’s potential. Here’s a brief outline of this summer’s planned activities.
ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Start Time: 8:00 A.M. – 1:300pm.
Days: Monday through Friday
Subjects Offered: Math, Reading, Religion, Sports and Computer for all grades
SUMMER CAMP
Start Time: 1:300 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.
Computer Technology Arts / Crafts Movies
Field Trips (Being planned) Educational Games Bible Stories
Swimming / Sprinkles Dances Sports
Please consider the cost of the Enrichment Classes and Summer Camp before you enroll.

THE SUMMER PROGRAM PROVIDES MANY ACTIVITIES DESIGNED FOR ACADEMIC, SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF STUDENTS. THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED FOR SUMMER 2011: ARTS & CRAFTS, COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY, BOARD GAMES, SWIMMING, BIBLE STORIES AND FIELD TRIPS. READING AND MATH CLASSES ARE PLANNED AS SOURCES OF ENRICHMENT AND ENJOYMENT.
PAYMENTS FOR SUMMER PROGRAM MUST BE CASH OR MONEY ORDER, NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Morning sessions will be offered in Religion, Reading, Math, Arts & Crafts, Swimming and Sports. Field trips will be scheduled. This program will fulfill remedial Summer School requirements.
Registration fee: $50.00 – Non Refundable
Field trips may have an additional cost.

MEDICATION
If your child requires medication during school hours, a Saint John “Authorization to Administer Medication in School” form must be completed! This form is available at the office.
NO MEDICATION WILL BE ADMINISTERED UNLESS THIS FORM IS ON file. THIS INCLUDES PRESCRIPTION AND OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS.
Students are NOT permitted to carry medications while in school. No self-administration of any medication is allowed. All medication is to be administered by the school nurse and kept in the health clinic.
