Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to 2011-2012 school year... I hope you had a refreshing and relaxing summer
We are very proud to inform you that your son or daughter is in an accredited school. We obtained our Middle States Accreditation on May 1, 2011. Thanks once again for your support and inputs. Being accredited means that we are effectively advancing the quality of educational experiences that we offer our students(your sons and daughters) and that we meet our responsibilities to the public and to the profession of education.
We proudly announce to you also that we graduated 27 students from 8th grade . Most of these students are already accepted into different Catholic High school around the area and some had scholarships Example, 2 will be attending Seton Hall Prep in West Orange and they have scholarships, 5 will be attending Cristo Rey in Newark, 3 will attend St Mary of Assumption in Elizabeth (one got scholarship), 4 will be attending Immaculate Conception in Mountclair 3 St Vincent Academy in Newark, 1 Mother Seton, and so on.
We will continue to focus on our students' performance this school year. Our goal is to continue to help our students improve their performance and be the best that they can be.
Our school-wide theme for this school year is " Our World Around Us." With this theme, we will accelerate our students' knowledge of and appreciation of the world around us.
Our girls basketball team won second place in this year basketball tournament. We are proud of the and our Coach Mr. Rodriguez for their hard work and achievement
2011-20012 school year will definitely be an exciting one for our students. Our faculty have plan many interest extracurricular and after school activities for them. We will be having activities such as Science, Reading, Religion, Chess Clubs, to mention but a few in addition to our student council , basket ball team, and Choir that we already have. Our Cheer-leading squad will be revived.
We look forward to partnering with our parents/guardians to make this school year an exciting and successful one for all our students.
Please provide your child/ren with the supplies listed on our website per grade to bring to school during the first week of school in September 2011.
Remember that our students need to:
1. Go to bed on time each day
2. Arrive to school on time daily
3. Complete and turn in all assignments on time
4. have a nutritious breakfast, snack and lunch
5.comply with school dress code and regulations
6. have positive attitude toward school and toward life in general
